We have different play needs at different times of life.

We never outgrow the need to play.

Have you ever passed by a playground and simply listened to the shouts of joy from children playing? Better yet, do you remember the joy you felt as you ran, jumped and played as a child?

The world is a serious place–one that can make play seem frivolous and unnecessary in the midst of so much crisis. But our guest this week, Jill Asher of the Magical Bridge Foundation, reminds us that we never outgrow the need to play. And everyone, regardless of ability or age, should be given the opportunity to experience play.

Magical Bridge builds playgrounds that are accessible to everyone of any age or ability, ensuring that everyone can play in a community setting, strengthening bonds between all members in a safe, joyful environment.

We all have challenges, many of which need almost constant attention. But remember to save some attention for yourself and to direct that attention to playing. Feed your soul, feed your body, feed your mind. Just play.

Tune into this week’s episode of the Brilliantly Resilient podcast to hear more from Jill about the Magical Bridge Foundation. Let’s be Brilliantly Resilient together.
